The practice model

Pay for focused expertise, privacy, and a clear direction.

New Pathways is a private-pay counseling practice for stable adults working on a specific issue. Sessions are $275 for 50 minutes. Insurance is not accepted or billed, and the usual cadence is biweekly or monthly when that fits the goal.

Private pay is not a status symbol and does not guarantee anonymity. It is a practical structure for clients who value choice, discretion, a defined scope, and counseling decisions that are not organized around insurance requirements.

A deliberate fit

Built for responsibility, complexity, and a specific change goal.

Clients often carry substantial professional, family, leadership, or community responsibility while functioning well in most parts of life. The work is designed to examine one consequential pattern without turning every difficulty into a diagnosis.

Know the boundary

Focused outpatient counseling—not crisis or comprehensive psychiatric care.

New Pathways is not structured for acute crisis, medication management, detoxification, court-mandated evaluation, severe instability, or broad ongoing symptom treatment without a defined goal. A 20-minute consultation is used to compare your needs with the practice model before scheduling.
