Anger, doubt & distance
You still value faith, but disappointment, doubt, unanswered questions, or anger at God have created distance you do not know how to resolve.
Christian counseling to work through doubt, anger at God, shame, spiritual disconnection, productive deconstruction, questions of identity and meaning, or experiences—including spiritual abuse—that have complicated faith.

The goal
Faith can become stalled by shame, disappointment, unanswered prayer, rigid expectations, intellectual conflict, anger at God, or the pressure to perform certainty you do not actually feel.
Counseling can help you examine what is happening beneath the surface, separate inherited assumptions from convictions you actually hold, and decide what a more integrated spiritual life looks like for you.
You still value faith, but disappointment, doubt, unanswered questions, or anger at God have created distance you do not know how to resolve.
Faith has become tied to pressure, perfectionism, fear, or the sense that you must look spiritually certain rather than be honest.
You want productive deconstruction—examining beliefs and assumptions carefully without treating either blind certainty or abandoning faith as the predetermined outcome.
A leader, institution, or community misused spiritual authority, and the impact still affects trust, belonging, conscience, or your relationship with God.
Christian-informed without forced conclusions
Brian is a Christian with graduate theological training. If you want explicitly Christian counseling, Scripture, prayer, theology, lament, spiritual formation, doubt, anger at God, and questions of meaning can be part of the work.
The goal is not to prescribe the conclusion. It is to help you engage faith with greater honesty, maturity, freedom, and alignment with the convictions you actually choose to live.
