Christian Counseling for Professionals

Clinical depth without leaving faith outside the room.

Private-pay counseling in St. Louis for executives, business owners, attorneys, physicians, pastors, ministry leaders, and other professionals who want Christian faith understood and integrated with focused psychological work.

The intersection matters

The problem may not be spiritual. Your faith still matters.

You may be coming for burnout, conflict avoidance, anger, unwanted sexual behavior, a relationship pattern, a difficult decision, grief, or a major transition. You should not have to choose between clinically serious counseling and a counselor who understands the beliefs shaping how you make sense of your life.

Faith can be part of the context without becoming the only explanation. Counseling can address the actual concern with psychological depth while integrating Scripture, prayer, theology, values, and spiritual practices when they are useful and when you want them included.

Who this often serves

Professional life changes the context—not the humanity of the problem.

The work is built around the concern you actually want help with, while understanding the professional and faith context surrounding it.

01

Executives & business owners

For pressure, burnout, decisions, relationship spillover, private patterns, or questions of purpose that do not fit neatly into a business conversation.

02

Attorneys & physicians

For demanding professional environments where privacy, precision, and a counselor who can engage faith without oversimplifying the issue may matter.

03

Pastors & ministry leaders

For concerns where ministry, marriage, personal faith, reputation, church dynamics, or private struggle overlap in ways that are difficult to separate.

04

Other professionals

For motivated adults who want thoughtful, focused counseling that can include Christian faith without turning every conversation into a spiritual lesson.

Faith-aware, not faith-only

Counseling and theological training in the same room.

Brian Bachman, MA, LPC, is a Christian and Missouri Licensed Professional Counselor with more than ten years of clinical experience. He earned graduate degrees in counseling and theological studies from Covenant Theological Seminary and is EMDR trained.

The work can draw from EMDR, behavioral analysis, attachment and family-of-origin understanding, psychoeducation, direct feedback, and solution-focused planning. Christian faith can be integrated directly when it serves the goal rather than being used as a shortcut around careful psychological work.

“The goal is not to make every problem spiritual. It is to avoid pretending faith is irrelevant.”
Brian Bachman

What integration can look like

Faith can be explicit without becoming simplistic.
